New Year, BIG News! | Charleston, SC | Charleston, SC Senior Photographer

MY WHY…

Once I started photographing seniors, I knew this is where I wanted to be. I wanted to give my seniors so much more than a one-hour meetup and then pass on their photos. It was important for me to get to know each client and serve them individually and not just as another name on my books. I specialized so I could get good, really good, and continue to grow in that area. I want to put my time in one specific area and truly provide value. I want to provide helpful tips to my followers, and I want to help my clients find their confidence and self-love, even if they already some. In a world where all eyes are on us, where we {most of the time} feel the need to be someone other than ourselves, and where we are constantly feeling like we are not enough, I want to show my clients just how enough they are. This is what led me to a full service, boutique experience, spending more time with each client and assisting them beginning to end through the process.

MY NEWS…

Like many of you preparing for big change in 2019, DWP will also be experiencing big change. My husband is in the Coast Guard, and due to a promotion, we will be leaving Charleston three years earlier than expected. While I’m super excited for a new adventure, I had to sit and think about what this news means for my clients here.

First, it means I will only be serving the Charleston area until May.

Second, it means I have to adjust the way I do things so I can take clients during this hectic time. I still want to provide each client with an individual experience, and create a senior session just for them, but in order to be able to serve more wonderful clients I will be doing it a little different. We will still have a phone or virtual consultation to plan your session, but as much as I love this part the ordering process and creating these custom pieces can get time consuming. So, for my remaining Charleston clients my sessions will be $550 and will be all inclusive. Meaning for $550 you will receive pre-session planning, up to two hours on location and a minimum of 15 digital files.

Third, my schedule will be limited so if you’re going to book, the sooner the better. I will only be opening my calendar up for 9 sessions! Advanced scheduling is actually great because it gives you prime availability, plenty of time for us to go over outfits and locations, plus it gives you the option of breaking up your payment. A 50% non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking to hold your date, with the remaining due 24 hours prior to our session, or you call pay full price at booking. See totally convenient!
